About Joe De Paiva
After studying graphic design, Joe opened Trixie boutique with his then Fiancée (now wife) Daniela De Paiva, a graduate of the Fashion Technology Program at George Brown College. Located in Bloor West Village, Trixie carried a wide variety of labels from major international brands to small local Canadian designers including Gentle Fawn, Yoga Jeans, and Soia and Kyo, as well as running a private label program under the Trixie brand. In January 2024, Joe launched The Company Showroom where all of his years in retail were transfered to the wholesale side of the business. His passion has always been finding a brand that is little known but has what it takes and bringing that to the public. The business has changed, the economy is currently soft, but some things stay the same. Taking a down to earth, sellable approach to fashion and giving the market what it wants will always be in style.
